TRAVEL AND LODGING

People from all over the country have come to Lancaster PA to participate in this class and to experience our lovely area. While not an airline hub, Lancaster is an easy drive from three major airports:

1. Harrisburg PA (MDT) is about a 35 minute drive to our office and Lancaster area.
2. Philadelphia PA (PHL) is about a 1.5 hour drive. Don’t want to drive that far? You can take SEPTA (rail) to the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, then get an Amtrak train into the Lancaster train station. At the Lancaster station, you could rent a car or grab an Uber to a hotel close to our office or walk to a downtown hotel (see below).
3. Baltimore MD (BWI) is about a 2 hr drive.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Coming by train and want to stay downtown? The biggest hotel in the city is the Marriott at the Convention Center which is about a 30 minute walk straight down Queen Street. A little closer to the train station is the Hotel Lancaster (about 20 minute walk) which will soon become a Holiday Inn (could happen soon!). A great venue downtown, and closest to the train station, is the Lancaster Arts Hotel(about 15 minute walk). Finally, one more unique property in the city is the Cork Factory Hotel – about a 21 minute walk from the station. There are taxis, Ubers and cars rentals at the train station.

If you are driving, the downtown venues are still a good idea since that area is great at the end of a training day (see our team picks for food). But you might also check out the options close to our office.
